Spa renewal works start 11 November
The City of Port Lincoln is renewing the spa at Port Lincoln Leisure Centre. Works start in November, and we expect the spa to reopen in early February 2027.
Council will repair and renew the spa shell and complete works on the spa plant, the equipment that heats and treats the water. Once the works are finished, you can expect a more reliable water temperature and more consistent water quality.
Closure dates
The spa closes from Wednesday 11 November 2026 so it can be drained and dried before work begins. The sauna stays open until Monday 23 November 2026, when the works move into that area.
We expect the spa to reopen in early February and will confirm the date closer to the time. The sauna may open at times during the works when it is safe to do so, and we will post updates on signage at the centre and on our social media.
Suspending your membership
If the closure means you won't be using the centre, you can suspend your membership free of charge while the works take place. Suspensions end automatically on Monday 1 February 2027, and we'll extend them if the spa hasn't reopened by then. It's a full membership suspension, so please read the terms below before you request one.
If you have any questions, speak with Customer Service at the centre, call (08) 8683 4949 or email pllc@ymcasa.org.au.
